Job summary

AmeriLife is seeking a Manager of I.T. Development and Data Engineering to lead a hands-on technical team, drive software and data infrastructure, and oversee system integrations across the organization.

You will blend individual contribution with team leadership while ensuring compliance with standards and best practices. The role requires architecture involvement and delivery of front- and back-end work in a fast-evolving insurance tech environment.

Qualifications

• Hands-on technical leader driving design and delivery of software and data infra.
• Experience guiding architecture decisions and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a small team, set priorities, and ensure timely delivery.
• Oversee CRM and platform development, including integrations and automation.
• Design scalable data pipelines and warehousing for analytics.
• Lead API integrations and maintain documentation and monitoring.
• Oversee BI dashboards and KPI reporting with stakeholder alignment.
• Maintain data governance and participate in audits and risk reviews.
