Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Desktop Imaging & Deployment Technician to image, provision, deploy, and manage endpoint devices across the organization. The role focuses on SCCM-based imaging, OS deployment, and asset management, ensuring security policy compliance.

Ideal candidates have hands-on SCCM and ServiceNow experience, with Windows 10/11 expertise and strong imaging/packaging skills. This contract role is onsite in Denver, CO.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in IT.
• 3+ years in desktop support, imaging, deployment, or endpoint management.
• Hands-on experience with SCCM / MECM and ServiceNow.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and software distribution.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and deploy Windows desktop and laptop images using Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager).
• Configure and deploy OS, apps, and security updates to endpoint devices.
• Manage device provisioning, hardware refreshes, upgrades, and lifecycle replacement programs.
• Troubleshoot imaging, deployment, driver, software installation, and OS issues.
• Coordinate equipment staging, deployment scheduling, and end-user migrations.
• Utilize ServiceNow for incident management, asset tracking, and documentation.
• Ensure assets are inventoried and tracked through IT asset management processes.
• Deploy and support peripherals including monitors, printers, docking stations, and mobile devices.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure, Security, and Service Desk to maintain endpoint standards.

TEKsystems is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Desktop Imaging & Deployment Technician to support the deployment, configuration, and lifecycle management of endpoint devices across the organization. This role is responsible for imaging, provisioning, deploying, and maintaining desktops, laptops, and related hardware while ensuring compliance with company standards and security requirements. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with Microsoft SCCM (Endpoint Configuration Manager), ServiceNow, Windows operating systems, and enterprise device deployment processes.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience in desktop support, imaging, deployment, or endpoint management.
• Hands‑on experience with Microsoft SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM).
• Experience utilizing ServiceNow for ticket management, asset management, and workflow tracking.
• Strong knowledge of Windows 10 and Windows 11 operating systems.
• Experience with OS deployment, task sequences, driver management, and software distribution.
• Understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365 environments.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $27.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job‑related factors.
