Job summary

Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare in Tallahassee, FL is seeking an IT professional to provide first-level desktop support for end-users, troubleshoot hardware and software, and ensure smooth operation of computing devices. The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma/GED, 1 year of related experience, and a valid driver's license with DMV check; associates preferred.

This on-site role reports to the Director/IT Infrastructure Services.

Qualifications

  • Maintains, analyzes, installsand resolves first level desktop computer and computing appliance issues for organization’s end-users, including (but not limited to) answering questions, providing advice, troubleshooting hardware and software problems using diagnostic tools and/or troubleshooting procedures.

How You'll Make An Impact
Your Role
  • Maintains, analyzes, installsand resolves first level desktop computer and computing appliance issues for organization’s end-users, including (but not limited to) answering questions, providing advice, troubleshooting hardware and software problems using diagnostic tools and/or troubleshooting procedures.

What You’ll Need To Apply
Required Education
  • High School Diploma/GED
Preferred Education
  • Associate Degree in related field
Required Experience
  • 1 year of job-related experience
Required Certification/License/Registry
  • Job requires a valid state driver license. Required to be at least twenty-one (21) years of age and with a minimum of two (2) years of licensed driving experience.
  • Required to provide a seven (7)-year driving record from the Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) prior to employment. Will have received no more than two (2) minor violations in the past three (3) years and zero (0) major violations in the past five (5) years.
  • NOTE: Use of personal vehicles is required. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner to maintain adequate insurance coverage for their personal vehicle used in conjunction with their duties as an employee. TMH will reimburse the business use of a personal vehicle in accordance with procedures defined by the Internal Revenue Service. It is important to note that your personal vehicle will be used to provide service to fellow colleagues of TMH and NOT to paying customers. This distinction is important because you may be asked if you use your personal vehicle to provide services to "customers."
