Job summary
Liberty Software is seeking an IT/Desktop Support Technician to configure, troubleshoot, and support servers, LANs, WANs, and VPNs, plus workstation and printer maintenance. The role is based in our Southlake, TX office with no visa sponsorship.
You will install and maintain networked equipment, administer LANs, implement security per HIPAA/PCI, and help customers through various support channels. Strong communication skills and Windows expertise are essential.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or related field with at least two years IT support experience.
- Strong understanding of computer networking and TCP/IP.
- Experience with Windows desktop support and workstation management.
Responsibilities
- Field questions from external customers and guide resolutions.
- Install, configure, and maintain workstations, servers, and networks.
- Administer LANs using TCP/IP protocols.
- Plan and implement network security per URAC, HIPAA, and PCI.
- Troubleshoot networks, systems, and applications to fix issues.
- Anticipate and prevent communication and networking problems.
