Job summary

Professional Staffing Services Group Inc. in Zephyrhills, FL is seeking an IT Deployment Technician for a one-month contract to unbox, assemble, cabling and configure over 250 desktop workstations at a brand-new healthcare plaza.

You will work onsite Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with a requirement to pass background and drug screening and to commit fully through Dec 16.

High school diploma required; IT certifications a plus.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / hour

Position Overview

Professional Staffing Services is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable IT Deployment Technician for a 1-month contract project at a brand-new healthcare plaza in Zephyrhills, FL. In this role, you will be responsible for unboxing, assembling,cabling, and configuring over 250 desktop workstations and peripheral hardware to ensure the facility is fully operational for clinical and administrative staff.

Note: Due to the project timeline, no personal time off will be permitted during this contract. The team will observe Thursday, November 26th off for Thanksgiving.

Key Responsibilities

• Unbox, assemble, deploy, and wire over 250 computer workstations across a new healthcare facility.
• Connect and configure IT hardware, including PCs, monitors, dual-monitor stands, keyboards, mice, desk phones,barcode scanners, and network peripherals.
• Perform clean cable management (dressing/ziptying cables under desks) to maintain a safe and professional clinical environment.
• Conduct basic post-installation boot checks and verify network connectivity for deployed units.
• Assist with inventory tracking, serial number logging, and asset tagging.
• Properly package, break down, and clear out hardware packaging to maintain a clean workspace.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on IT support, hardware deployment, or desktop support experience.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong familiarity with PC hardware, workspace cable routing, monitor mounting, network patching, and standard workplace IT equipment.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 40 lbs, bend, kneel, stand, and perform repetitive hardware setup throughout an 8-hour shift.
• Screenings: Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen prior to start.
• Availability: Must be able to commit to the entire project schedule (Nov 16 – Dec 16) with no time off permitted,with the exception of Thanksgiving Day (Nov 26).
• High school diploma or equivalent required; IT certifications (A+, Network+) are a plus.
