Geronimo Power is seeking an IT Data & Development Intern for Summer 2027 in Bloomington, MN. The role focuses on supporting application development, data management, and emerging technologies across the company.
You'll work with software developers and stakeholders to transform processes, automate tasks, and explore AI-driven solutions using Microsoft Power Platform and Dataverse. Bloomington HQ-based internship with hands-on learning and mentorship.
Qualifications
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in IT, CS, SE, data analytics, or related field.
- Strong interest in software development, data management, BI, and digital transformation.
- Basic understanding of databases and application development concepts.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 apps (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).
Responsibilities
- Assist software developers with digital transformation and app development.
- Build and enhance Power Apps solutions to support business processes.
- Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows.
- Assist with Dataverse data modeling and governance.
- Support data collection, validation, and reporting for apps and platforms.
- Research AI tools and implementation approaches.
- Assist with testing, troubleshooting, and documenting solutions.
- Create user guides and training materials.
- Collaborate with business users to gather requirements.
- Support ongoing IT projects and special initiatives.
- Other duties as assigned.
