About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and versatile Security & IT Specialist to ensure robust security practices, manage IT infrastructure, and support sales and customer success through timely completion of RFPs and security/compliance questionnaires. Your responsibilities will include:

1. RFP Completion: Acting as a subject matter expert in security, IT, and compliance sections of RFPs to support sales, ensuring responses are accurate and aligned with customer needs.
2. Customer Security Questionnaires: Collaborating with internal teams to complete technical and compliance questionnaires efficiently, building trust with customers.
3. Communication with Stakeholders: Working closely with sales, customer success, and leadership to address client concerns regarding security and compliance.
4. Defining, implementing, and maintaining security controls across the organization.
5. Supporting compliance with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 standards.
6. Conducting security assessments to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
7. Overseeing cloud environments like AWS, GCP, and Google Workspace, ensuring security best practices.
8. Utilizing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools for managing secure cloud environments and Kubernetes deployments.
9. Managing tools such as Bitwarden, AWS IAM, and internal platforms for secure access.
10. Providing proactive support for security and IT resources to ensure end-user satisfaction.
11. Optimizing IT and security resource allocation through cost-effective decisions.

What we look for in a candidate

While not all boxes need to be checked, the ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience.
• Proven experience in completing RFPs and customer security questionnaires.
• Strong knowledge of cloud security (AWS, GCP) and infrastructure management with Kubernetes and IaC.
• Familiarity with standards like SOC 2 and ISO 27001 is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Strategic and economical thinking in implementing IT and security solutions.
