Job summary

Pentair's Leadership Development Internship Program offers a 12-week, hands-on IT/cybersecurity experience in Golden Valley, MN. You’ll be mentored, connected with leaders, and work on a strategic project with real impact.

Interns work about 40 hours per week at $31.00/hour, with potential relocation support. Two start options: late May–early August 2027 or early June–mid August 2027. A final presentation could lead to future full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, MIS, Cybersecurity, or Computer Science from an accredited university.
• Junior undergraduate with preferred graduation date Spring 2028.
• Willing to work during the summer in Golden Valley, MN location.
• Interested in Pentair's full-time IT & Cybersecurity Leadership Development Program after graduation.
• Willing to relocate and work in locations throughout the United States for the program.
• Strong technical aptitude in at least one IT domain (app development, infrastructure, cybersecurity, etc.).
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Work on a real-world, strategic business project and present objectives, processes, and results to leadership at internship end.
• Collaborate with mentors and peers through cohort development, networking, and speaker sessions.
