Job summary

GEODIS in the Dallas area is seeking an IT support specialist to work with the IT Manager and Corporate IT Team. You will troubleshoot network and server issues, install and maintain computer systems, and support telecommunication and networking infrastructure.

You will configure networks, manage hardware such as PCs, printers, and RF scanners, test new configurations, and document IT processes. Experience with LMS like Red Prairie or Manhattan LMS is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
0 years related experience required or training.
Familiarity with third-party logistics, transportation systems, or warehouse management systems like Red Prairie or Manhattan LMS preferred.
Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access).
Ability to read safety rules and technical manuals; write routine reports and correspondence.

Responsibilities

Assist IT Manager and Corporate IT Team with troubleshooting network/server problems.
Install and maintain computer systems, telecommunication, networking hardware and software.
Test and deploy new computer configurations; manage user rights and security policies.
Provide user support and respond to service requests; support LMS maintenance procedures.
