Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking an IT Controls Engineer to own, evolve, and scale ITGCs across our enterprise applications. You will partner with Internal Audit, IT, Security, and Finance to ensure SOX 404 compliance while advancing AI-enabled controls to automate testing and evidence collection.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in IT controls, audit, or enterprise governance.
• Hands-on 1st line control ownership across ERP/HRIS/CRM.
• SOX 404, COSO, COBIT familiarity; SoD design/remediation.
• Experience leading external audits (Big 4) or equivalents.
• Experience building AI-augmented controls and continuous controls monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Own ITGC design and operation across enterprise applications — including logical access, change management, SDLC, computer operations, and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Lead the 1st-line control environment for in-scope enterprise applications, embedding controls into workflows.
• Drive SoD strategy across ERP, HRIS, and CRM with role design reviews and ongoing monitoring tooling.
• Manage the audit lifecycle with Internal and External Audit and the SOX PMO — walkthroughs, evidence collection, remediation, and responses.
• Build AI-native continuous controls monitoring, including LLM-based evidence review and automated anomaly surveillance.
