Qualifications

Role Description

The IT Consultant role is a full-time, on-site position based in Puerto Rico. The person in this role will work closely with clients to assess their technology environments, identify business and technical requirements, and propose integrated solutions aligned with digital transformation goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting technical evaluations, designing and documenting solution architectures, providing implementation guidance, and collaborating with internal technical teams and external partners. The IT Consultant will also offer technical support during deployment, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards. This role involves regular client interactions, preparation of proposals and presentations, and continuous learning to stay current with emerging technologies relevant to Multicómputos’ portfolio.

Qualifications

• Strong IT Consulting and Consulting experience, with the ability to translate business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Solid foundation in Information Technology, including familiarity with infrastructure, networking, cloud, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications.
• Proficient Analytical Skills to diagnose complex technical problems, interpret data, and recommend effective resolutions.
• Hands-on Technical Support experience, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and post-implementation assistance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Knowledge of datacenter, virtualization, networking, cybersecurity, and cloud platforms commonly used in enterprise environments.
• Ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including preparing documentation and client presentations.
• Experience working with or for technology integrators, solution providers, or consulting firms is preferred.
• Strong teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate in multidisciplinary projects and manage multiple engagements simultaneously.
• Willingness to work on-site in Puerto Rico and travel within the region as needed for client engagements.
