Job summary

State of Nebraska's Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT) invites a college student to join the Construction Systems team in the Business Technology Support Division. You will gain hands-on experience with coding and translating business requirements into system enhancements.

Qualifications

• Must be a three-fourths-time student in good standing.
• Preferred coursework in SQL, C#, or Python.
• Applicants must be able to work at least 10 hours a week when classes are in session.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction Systems team with writing code to support reporting, analysis, transforming, or transferring data within or between systems.
• Report / Analysis writing and/or updating SQL to visualize data.
• Transform data writing code using C# or Python to modify data for DOT systems.
• Transfer data writing code using C#, Python, or SQL to move data within or between systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
