Job summary

FMX in Columbus, Ohio, is seeking an IT & Compliance Manager to lead IT operations and the compliance program from our Grandview Heights HQ. You will guide a local team, set IT standards, and own policies while driving hands-on improvements.

This player-coach role requires hands-on leadership for SOC 2 Type II and GovRAMP audits, plus collaboration with CTO on strategy, tooling, and security posture.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in IT support, systems administration, or IT compliance.
• 1+ year in lead/supervisory role.
• Proven track record of developing technical team members.
• Strong experience with Windows, AD, Azure/M365 environments.
• Experience owning endpoint management at scale (imaging, MDM, patching).
• Hands-on with third-party compliance audits (SOC 2 Type II).
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Directly manage the IT Specialist including hiring, onboarding, performance reviews, and coaching.
• Set priorities and oversee day-to-day IT support workload and ticket queue.
• Define and enforce IT standards, policies, and best practices across FMX.
• Own IT documentation, runbooks, and internal knowledge base.
