City of Minneapolis seeks a senior SharePoint Architect to design and implement advanced collaboration platforms, including SharePoint Online and on‑premises environments. The role builds scalable search experiences, taxonomy and metadata configurations, and integrates with line‑of‑business systems.

Design and execute solutions to support business processes, communication and file management in various applications and platforms and provide input for adoption plans, strategic discussions and site architecture to make optimal use of the tools set owned by the City.
Work Location: This position may be eligible for flexible work arrangements, including hybrid work with some days working remotely and some days working in the office.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Digital Information Management, including coursework in information architecture, taxonomy and classification, content management systems administration and search management, or equivalent
Minimum Experience: Six years of directly related experience in digital information management using enterprise-class content management and document management systems.
Equivalency: An equivalent combination of education and experience closely related to the duties of the position MAY be considered.

Eligible List Statement: The names of applicants who meet minimum qualification and who pass the screening process shall be placed on the eligible list for employment consideration.
