Job summary

Precision Castparts Corp. (PCC) invites a co-op student majoring in IT or engineering to join the Airfoils division in Wickliffe, OH. You will gain hands-on experience applying classroom concepts to PCC systems, focusing on program development and IT support.

Expect progressive responsibility, opportunities to contribute to product development, and exposure to network/server environments. A strong academic record is valued and relocation is authorized.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of computer hardware.
• Basic knowledge of computer networking.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Good writing and interpersonal skills.
• US Person Status required.

Responsibilities

• Apply school principles to hands-on PCC use, including program development.
• Receive progressive responsibility and meet performance goals.
• Identify and fix computer and network problems.
• Attend weekly departmental meetings.
• Take ownership of identified projects.
• Participate on project teams for assigned projects.
• Work within specifications to meet goals.
• Collaborate with peers and other departments on product development and enhancements.
• Work with network and server equipment.
• Expand responsibilities into programming or controls as interests allow.
