Job summary

Findorff is seeking an IT Co-op in Madison, WI, for Spring/Summer 2027 or Summer/Fall 2027. You will work with our IT team to support technology systems powering our business and jobsites. This role suits students pursuing IT, cybersecurity, systems administration, and tech support.

You'll gain hands-on experience, develop technical and customer service skills, and learn to manage user accounts, device setups, and IT projects in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing an IT-related degree (associate or bachelor's).

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical Support: assist with hardware, software, and basic network issues while delivering great service.
  • Support IT Operations: manage user accounts, workstation setup, software installs, inventory, and onboarding tasks.
  • Assist with Infrastructure & Systems: touch servers, cloud apps, networking, and enterprise systems during maintenance and upgrades.
  • Contribute to Cybersecurity Efforts: support security awareness and device/compliance activities.
  • Support Technology Projects: participate in IT projects to improve efficiency and user experience.
  • Learn IT Systems & Tools: use Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint tools, and ticketing systems.

Come join Findorff as an IT Co-op this Spring/Summer (January 2027 - August 2027) or Summer/Fall (May/June 2027 - December 2027).

What You'll Do

The IT Co-op is based in Madison, WI and works alongside Findorff's Information Technology team. As an IT Co-op, you'll gain hands-on experience supporting the technology systems that power our business and jobsites. This role is designed for students interested in information technology, cybersecurity, systems administration, and technical support. You'll work alongside experienced IT professionals while developing technical, analytical, and customer service skills.

  • Provide Technical Support: Assist team members with troubleshooting hardware, software, mobile devices, and basic network-related issues while delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Support IT Operations: Help with user account management, workstation setup and deployment, software installs, equipment inventory, and technology onboarding tasks.
  • Assist with Infrastructure & Systems: Gain exposure to servers, cloud-based applications, networking, and enterprise systems while supporting ongoing maintenance and upgrades.
  • Contribute to Cybersecurity Efforts: Assist with security awareness initiatives, device compliance activities, access management, and other cybersecurity best practices.
  • Support Technology Projects: Participate in IT projects that improve efficiency, support business operations, and enhance the employee experience.
  • Learn IT Systems & Tools: Utilize platforms such as Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint management tools, and ticketing systems while building technical knowledge and problem-solving skills.

What We Are Looking For
  • Pursuing an associates or bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Management Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
