Job summary

Covenant Health seeks an IT Clinical Pharmacist to serve as a licensed pharmacist resource supporting IT project implementations. You will bring clinical pharmacology expertise to build and maintain clinical application systems and ensure safe medication use across the health system.

The role requires 3–5 years of hospital experience in a management or super-user capacity, and Tennessee pharmacist licensure or eligibility within 6 months. Local travel is required and day shift availability.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Apply pharmacology rules to support IT projects in pharmacy systems.
• Focus on patient-safety centered medication delivery processes.
• Develop and review clinical decision support notices for physicians.
• Standardize pharmacy clinical and distributive functions across the health system.
• Coordinate training and implementation of IT projects.
• Bridge daily pharmacy operations with IT development decisions.
• Local travel is required.
• Follow policies and participate in quality initiatives.
