Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide pharmaceutical, pharmacokinetic, and pharmacodynamic guidance for IT projects.
• Focus on patient-safety centered medication delivery processes.
• Provide clinical relevance in building decision support notices for physicians during order entry.
• Drive standardization of pharmacy department functions for quality and safe care.
• Link projects with medication safety practices and process coordination.
• Communicate with physicians and clinicians regarding clinical efficacy and therapeutics.
• Assist in training, promotion and implementation of IT projects.
• Bridge daily pharmacy operations with IT application development and implementation decisions.
• Local travel required.
• Follows policies and completes required education; contributes to quality improvement.
