Under general direction, the IT Clinical Pharmacist will be a licensed pharmacist resource in support of the implementation of IT projects. Pharmacist expertise and general facility operational knowledge is a critical part of building and maintaining the clinical application systems.
Minimum Education: None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.
Minimum Experience Three to five (3-5) years of hospital experience in a management or “super-user” position required.
Licensure Requirement Currently holds a state license to practice Pharmacy. Must be currently licensed in the state of Tennessee or must become licensed in the State of Tennessee within 6 months of employment with Covenant Health. Employee must have a valid driver’s license Class D in state of residence and state mandated minimum insurance coverage. Driving record must meet Covenant Health minimum standards at the date of hire and throughout employment tenure.
