Johnson Screens in New Brighton, MN is seeking an IT Client Support Specialist to deliver Tier 1 and Tier 2 end-user support across office and manufacturing environments. The role requires hands-on administration of user accounts, devices, and access, with a focus on reliability and security.

You will work Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM on site, with occasional after-hours support as needed. The position offers a competitive base salary and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent education/experience in IT.
• Experience with Windows, Microsoft 365, AD, Entra ID, endpoint devices, and printers.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support for Windows desktops, laptops, and mobile devices.
• Administer user accounts, security groups, access requests, password resets in AD/Entra ID and M365.
• Coordinate onboarding/offboarding, device deployment, asset recovery, and inventory management.
• Maintain support documentation and assist IT projects and improvements.
• Travel occasionally to support other locations as needed.

This position is in office, not hybrid, not remote.

This position is onsite, Monday–Friday, core hours 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with availability for after-hours support as business needs require.

What You'll Do

The IT Client Support Specialist provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for Johnson Screens team members across office and manufacturing environments. This role is responsible for delivering end-user support, managing endpoint devices, administering user access, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, maintaining IT assets and inventory, and ensuring employees have the technology and access required to perform their jobs effectively. The position works closely with infrastructure personnel, application owners, vendors, and business stakeholders to maintain a secure and reliable end-user computing environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Provide technical support for Windows desktops, laptops, mobile devices, peripherals, Microsoft 365 applications, and approved end-user software.
• Manage incident and service request queues, ensuring timely resolution, accurate documentation, communication, and escalation when appropriate.
• Administer user accounts, security group memberships, access requests, password resets, and end-user licensing within Active Directory, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365.
• Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities, including account provisioning, device deployment, equipment recovery, and asset disposition.
• Experience with user account administration, software deployment, device provisioning, inventory management, and technical troubleshooting.
• Support manufacturing and office technology, including workstation connectivity, shop-floor devices, and label printer operations.
• Maintain support documentation, knowledge base articles, and standard operating procedures while assisting with IT projects and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Valid driver's license & travel occasionally to support other company locations and participate in after-hours support activities as business needs require.
• Other duties as assigned

What You Bring

• Associate degree in Information Technology or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education or experience.
• Working knowledge of Windows operating systems, Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Entra ID, endpoint management tools, mobile devices, computer hardware, printers, and related technologies.
• Experience with user account administration, software deployment, device provisioning, inventory management, and technical troubleshooting.
• Strong customer service, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Valid driver's license with the ability to travel occasionally to other company locations.
• Ability to lift and move IT equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Experience with Microsoft Intune, endpoint deployment, and mobile device management, preferred.
• Experience supporting users in manufacturing environments, preferred.

Compensation

Base salary range of $55,000-$70,000
