Job summary

Southwestern Michigan College is hiring a Student- Information Technology Classroom Lab Assistant. The student employee will work with the IT instructor to maintain computer equipment and materials in the IT classroom, ensuring safe lab practices.

Responsibilities include inventory, keeping a safe environment, and performing other duties as directed. Applicants must be enrolled as students in good standing and may be FWS or Regular Student Employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a personal computer for general use.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Applicants enrolled in related occupations may apply.

Responsibilities

• Help keep inventory of computer parts and consumables.
• Maintain a safe lab environment for participants.
• Additional duties may be assigned by a supervisor.
