Regal Cinemas IT Cine­ma Tier 2 Support Technician I based in Knoxville, TN plays a hands‑on role keeping our theatre technology running smoothly, while leading IT aspects of openings, upgrades and remodels.

You will troubleshoot hardware and software, coordinate with vendors and internal teams, monitor system performance, document updates, and help ensure every theatre is set up for success. This role requires strong collaboration and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience supporting IT infrastructure, hardware, and software in a technical environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently or in a team.
• Troubleshoot issues, think critically, and make decisions under pressure.
• Clear communication with technical and non-technical partners.
• Willingness to travel and adapt to changing project needs.

Responsibilities

• Support cinema technology by troubleshooting hardware and software issues and responding to technical incidents.
• Lead the IT scope of projects including theatre openings, remodels, and closures, ensuring timelines and standards are met.
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams on equipment installs, cabling, and system configurations.
• Monitor system performance, document updates, and ensure systems meet service level expectations.
• Collaborate across IT teams to improve processes, maintain infrastructure, and support ongoing operations.
