Job summary

The American Cancer Society is seeking a Business Analyst in IT, Product & Portfolio Center to bridge business needs and technical solutions. You will elicit, analyze, and document requirements, create user stories, and ensure alignment with our technology strategy.

You will work with stakeholders across IT and business teams, validating solutions and maintaining process documentation. Occasional travel may be required to support projects and departments.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years IT business analysis experience.
• Knowledge of BA methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process mapping skills.
• Ability to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.

Responsibilities

• Elicit and document business, functional, and technical requirements through interviews, workshops, and process analysis.
• Collaborate with IT, product owners, and stakeholders to translate requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases.
• Partner with QA and development teams to validate solutions with adequate test coverage.
• Maintain up-to-date business process documentation and support knowledge transfer.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BA practices, tools, and templates.
