Job summary

The IT & Data Business Analyst at vTech Solution will support technology and data initiatives within a Child Support Services environment. This hybrid role, primarily remote, bridges business operations with technical teams to translate program requirements into system, data, and process solutions.

The position requires expertise in business analysis, SQL/data analysis, Salesforce, and Child Support Services domain knowledge. It is a contract-to-hire opportunity based in Phoenix.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting enterprise technology initiatives.
• Strong requirements gathering, process analysis, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Hands-on SQL queries for data analysis and validation.
• Experience with Salesforce as a BA or supporting Salesforce implementations.
• Knowledge of Child Support Services domain or systems.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Collaborative work with business users, developers, QA and data teams.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders, IT teams, developers, and data teams to gather and validate requirements.
• Analyze processes, system workflows, and data to identify gaps and improvements.
• Translate needs into functional requirements, user stories, and technical documentation.
• Write and execute SQL queries for data analysis and validation across systems.
• Support data mapping, data quality analysis, reporting, integration and migration activities.
• Serve as liaison between business and technical teams throughout the SDLC.
• Assist with Salesforce initiatives including requirements, configuration validation, testing and implementation.
• Participate in system testing, UAT, defect tracking, and production validation.
• Analyze workflows to ensure solutions meet program and operational needs.
• Assist with reporting, documentation, and ongoing system enhancements.
