Job Description:

Our client has recently established a department to oversee the IT aspects of Merger and Acquisition activities. This role will collaborate with Information Technology, Mergers & Acquisitions staff, and various business partners to provide business analysis expertise throughout the M&A process, from due diligence to integration.

Examples of responsibilities include:

• Working with IT Teams to develop appropriate due diligence questions and data needs.
• Converting Deal Thesis, Pro Formas, Due Diligence findings, Legal findings, and other M&A documents into business and technical requirements documentation.
• Assisting IT workstreams under the direction of an M&A IT Project Manager to define and scope IT projects.
• Facilitating business requirements discovery, refinement, and documentation sessions with IT and business staff.

• Business analysis experience.
• Technical documentation skills—understanding contracts and summarizing their implications for IT execution.
• Concise communication skills.
• Understanding of the M&A process (preferred but not mandatory).
