Job Description

Tire Rack is seeking an IT Business Analyst II to serve as the bridge of communication between business stakeholders and IT software development staff. The BA is responsible for facilitating discussions, analyzing processes, identifying opportunities, and recommending IT solutions to improve efficiency and align with business goals. The BA must accurately document and communicate these needs to the IT development team to produce solutions that meet expectations.

Travel Requirements

This is a remote role; however, minimal or occasional travel to our headquarters in South Bend, IN may be required for meetings, projects, or training.

Work Authorization

• Must be a U.S. citizen or authorized to work in the United States. We do not offer sponsorship for employment visas at this time.

Responsibilities

• Elicit business requirements for enhancement requests.
• Create and maintain Business Requirement documents, including BRD and functional designs.
• Facilitate review of requirements with business users, development, and QA teams.
• Secure approval of functional designs.
• Support development and testing of deliverables.
• Assist with user acceptance testing plans.
• Document existing processes for IT staff reference.
• Help facilitate a sound SDLC.
• Produce reports to support business decisions.
• Participate in project intake and backlog reviews.
• Capture workflows using visual flowcharts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business or Information Technology, or 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst.
• Understanding of supply chain and/or logistics preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
• Moderate to advanced Excel skills.
• Working knowledge of SQL.
• Ability to work 8 am to 5 pm EST.
