Job summary

NFI Industries seeks a Business Analyst I to assist Implementation Managers and IT project teams on customer startup projects and demand requests. You will help develop and maintain documentation, configure systems, test, and support internal and external customers.

You will document artifacts, support testing activities, and help identify improvement opportunities. The role requires quick learning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and ongoing process optimization within the department.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of relevant experience preferred.
• Generalist knowledge of core project-management concepts.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Implementation Managers and IT project teams to develop an implementation plan.
• Document and maintain project artifacts clearly and concisely.
• Assist in configuration and creation of custom application solutions under a project lead.
• Complete and document unit testing and integration testing activities.
• Coordinate and document user acceptance testing activities.

Overview

As a Business Analyst I, you’ll assist Implementation Managers and IT project teams in completing customer startup projects and demand requests. Primary responsibilities include developing and maintaining documentation, system configuration, testing, issue identification and resolution, and providing support to internal and external customers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates with Implementation Managers and IT project teams to develop an implementation plan
• Clearly and concisely documents and maintains project artifacts
• Working under the direction of a project lead, assists in the configuration and creation of custom application solutions
• Completes and documents unit testing and integration testing activities
• Coordinates and documents user acceptance testing activities
• Identifies, defines, and resolves minor issues during the implementation process, escalating complex issues to more senior team members
• Utilizes project management methodologies consistent with the common framework
• Becomes a subject matter expert in at least one area within the department
• Trains customer end-users on solution functionality and operational processes
• Seeks to identify improvement opportunities for process, execution, delivery, and communication
• Learns new systems, processes, and tools quickly and thoroughly
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree strongly preferred, will consider comparable work experience.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience is preferred.
• Broad, generalist knowledge of core elements or concepts relevant to the role.
• Focuses on learning existing tools, resources, and processes at NFI.
