Job summary

SkyWest Airlines seeks an IT Business Analyst to design, develop, and implement software solutions to improve airline operations. You will shadow partners, document processes, and collaborate with engineers to translate requirements into user-friendly applications.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, strong communication, and expertise with Microsoft Office and Visio, plus SDLC familiarity. Aviation experience is preferred. This is a full-time on-site role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 18 years of age or older.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver’s license.
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Understanding of business process documentation methods.

Responsibilities

• Job shadow business partners to identify and document existing business processes.
• Work with business partners and software engineers to come up with software solutions.
• Design user interface for a custom in-house application.
• Document requirements for software engineers.
• Present software solutions for business partner approval.
• Assist software engineers during development and integration testing.
• Work with business partners during user acceptance testing, manual writing, and implementation as needed.
