Job summary

SkyWest Airlines in Saint George, Utah seeks a detail-oriented IT/Business Analyst to document current processes and design software solutions for in-house tools. You will collaborate with partners and engineers to define requirements, present solutions for approvals, and assist during development, testing, and user acceptance.

Ideal candidates bring strong communication, process documentation skills, and familiarity with the software development lifecycle; aviation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license.
• Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle.
• Aviation experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Job shadow business partners to identify and document existing business processes.
• Work with business partners and software engineers to come up with software solutions.
• Design user interface for a custom in-house application.
• Document requirements for software engineers.
• Present software solutions for business partner approval.
• Assist software engineers during development and integration testing.
• Work with business partners during user acceptance testing, manual writing, and implementation as needed.
