Job summary

Amicis Global in New York, NY is seeking an IT Business Analyst to serve as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams. You will analyze processes, gather requirements, and recommend solutions to support strategic objectives and operational improvements.

Responsibilities include documenting requirements, analyzing current processes for improvement, translating needs into functional specs, and supporting testing, training, and deployment of new systems.

Qualifications

• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, and process mapping.
• Strong knowledge of software development life cycle and Agile methodologies.
• Proficiency in tools such as Excel, Visio, JIRA, Tableau, Rovo and Copilot.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Business Analyst certification (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA) or SAFE certification is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting Credit products and Secured Financing trading desks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews, workshops, and analysis.
• Analyze current business processes and identify areas for improvement or automation.
• Translate business needs into functional specifications for development teams.
• Support testing, training, and deployment of new systems or enhancements.
• Facilitate communication between business users and IT teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare reports, dashboards, and documentation to support decision-making.
