Job summary

TP ICAP is seeking an IT Business Analyst in New York to join the Equity delivery team. The role focuses on eliciting, analysing and communicating detailed business requirements to enable IT changes across TP ICAP systems, aligning with stakeholder needs from multiple business units.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in business analysis within finance/trading, understands the full trade lifecycle, and can work in an Agile/SAFe environment with strong communication across on-site and remote

Qualifications

• 4+ years of proven experience as a business analyst, preferably with finance or trading background.
• Knowledge of trading applications, order management and full trade lifecycle.
• Experience in Agile/SAFe delivery environments and strong communication with local and remote teams.
• Ability to identify AI-driven opportunities across equities trading workflows and translate into AI-enabled specs.

Responsibilities

• Work with Product Managers/Owners/Development to design and build quality software solutions aligned to IT strategy/vision.
• Take ownership for development of key features and drive to completion.
• Lead analysis of stakeholder objectives and document clear requirements for scope and prioritisation.
• Leverage AI tools to enhance analysis, documentation and stakeholder communication.
• Govern scope and guide estimation of work using domain knowledge and track risks and dependencies.
• Communicate progress and manage impediments to minimise delivery impact.
• Assist team members to understand focus and delivery value of milestones and releases.
• Deliver against both functional and non-functional requirements.
• Support well-defined SDLC with planning, prioritisation and delivery needs.
• Manage ad-hoc tasks as required.

The primary responsibility of this role is to elicit, analyse and communicate detailed business and operational requirements to enable change across TP ICAP IT systems.
