Job description

Overview

Amyx, Inc. is seeking a full time onsite IT Budget Analyst to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO). This role requires expertise in Federal IT budget formulation and execution. The selected candidate will provide support to the Federal Lead in all aspects of the NNSA IT budgeting process, to include planning, programming, forecasting, reconciliation, reporting, and execution.

Responsibilities

- Track program funding and obligations in the internal budget tool.- Reconcile internal budget tool against data reported in the Integrated Data Warehouse. - Assist with performing budget execution activities, cost recovery efforts, and data call submissions. - Assist with the Monthly Financial Status Report (MFSR) process in coordination with multiple site budget offices. Review and analyze projected/actual labor and procurement costs reported to determine how effectively sites cost available funding. Provide feedback to leadership regarding monthly site submissions. - Provide support for annual agency Budget Summits, including preparing templates to capture site budget information, responding to site questions, taking meeting notes, and programming processes. - Monitor program uncosted balances to ensure obligated funding is costed in a timely manner and provide recommendations for de-obligating funds. - Assist with preparing, processing, coordinating, and executing Interagency Agreements. - Update budget SharePoint site with financial related documents to maintain historical record of program financial activities. - Implement data migration, data reconciliation, data visualization, and dashboarding for budget processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Five (5) or more years of experience in Federal IT budgeting or financial analysis.• Proficiency in using Excel, Tableau, and other Federal budget tools to track and manage budget data.• Strong understanding of IT budgeting, cost recovery, de-obligations, and invoicing.• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including experience developing executive-level reports.• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, conduct stakeholder meetings, and facilitate working group meetings.• Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to obtain a security clearance.

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

- Active Top secret or Q clearance.- Master’s degree in a related field.- Knowledge of DOE and NNSA budgeting processes and tools.- Familiarity with Appian tools and platform.
