Job summary

SmartSource in Las Vegas is seeking a Production Technician to prepare rental equipment—imaging, configuring, testing IT gear, displays, LED walls, and other tradeshow tech. You will fill orders with cable kits and stage equipment to a one-business-day standard for timely delivery.

You will be a point of contact for field technicians and clients, providing IT and production support and assisting in the preparation of AV and LED gear for rental orders.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience with computer systems and large-display setups.
• Proficient in configuring and troubleshooting computer hardware.
• Networking skills for Windows and Mac in wired/wireless setups.
• Experience with tradeshow, AV, or LED equipment is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work evenings/weekends as needed.
• Valid driving record and ability to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, image, configure, and test IT and tradeshow equipment for rental orders.
• Include complete cable kits and accessories in each order.
• Own FPY by catching and correcting issues before field delivery.
• Scan outbound inventory and reconcile against orders.
• Meet one-business-day staging standard and label equipment to correct location.
• Assist clients, account executives, and technicians with IT and production support.
• Prepare audio visual and LED equipment for rental orders.
• Report damages, shortages, or defects the same day they are identified.
• Support the Operations Management in other day-to-day functions as directed.
