This contract offers a quick ramp‑up and immediate contribution to ongoing compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on ITGC and SOX testing experience, with a preference for those familiar with AuditBoard and auditing in professional services or corporate settings.

Interim IT Auditor - SOX / ITGC Testing Consultant

Contract Opportunity | Immediate Need | Potential Extension

Vaco is partnering with a client seeking an experienced IT Auditor to support a SOX compliance initiative. This consultant will play a key role in executing IT General Controls (ITGC) testing and documenting results within the organization's SOX compliance program.

This is a great opportunity for an auditor who can quickly integrate into an established environment and contribute immediately to ongoing compliance and testing efforts.

Contract Details

• Target Start Date: Week of October 5th or October 12th
• Duration: Initial project expected to last 2+ weeks
• Extension Potential: Strong possibility of extension based on ongoing compliance needs
• Equipment: Company‑issued laptop provided
• Work Arrangement: Contract / Interim

Ideal Candidate

The ideal consultant has a strong foundation in SOX compliance and ITGC testing and can immediately contribute to testing efforts with minimal ramp‑up time. Candidates with AuditBoard experience and a proven history of documenting and executing IT control testing will be highly preferred.
