Job summary

Proven Recruiting, Inc. is seeking an IT Audit Staff to help build an Internal Audit program from the ground up. You will gain hands-on exposure across IT and Finance/Operations audits while helping to document and test ITGCs and ERP processes.

This remote role allows 1x a month onsite collaboration. You will work with IT, Finance, and Operations teams, gaining mentorship as the function expands and matures.

Qualifications

• 2 years IT audit experience.
• Experience with ITGCs and ERP controls is a plus.
• Strong communicator who builds relationships and follows up.

Responsibilities

• Support IT audits and cybersecurity audits alongside IT Audit Manager.
• Document and test IT General Controls for ERP systems.
• Research, build, and test new audit programs and test steps from scratch.
• Support data analytics and continuous monitoring using Tableau, Alteryx, and Smartsheet.
• Assist Finance/Operations audit projects as needed.
• Collaborate with IT, Finance, and Operations teams.

Job description

Are you an early-career IT audit professional eager to learn and excited to help build something from the ground up? This is an opportunity to join a private equity-backed organization that is investing in its Internal Audit function. As an IT Audit Staff member, you will gain hands-on exposure across IT and Finance/Operations audits while helping build programs from scratch rather than just performing routine testing.

What you’ll do:

• Support IT audits and cybersecurity audits alongside the IT Audit Manager.
• Help document and test IT General Controls (ITGCs), including change management, for a recently implemented ERP system.
• Research, build, and test new audit programs and test steps from scratch.
• Support data analytics and continuous monitoring work using Tableau, Alteryx, and Smartsheet.
• Support the Finance/Operations audit team on projects as needed.
• Work cross-functionally with IT, Finance, and Operations teams.

Who you are:

• 2 years of IT audit experience.
• Hard worker who is eager to learn and excited to help build programs from scratch.
• Industry experience preferred; public accounting experience will also be considered.
• Experience with Tableau, Alteryx, and Smartsheet preferred.
• Strong communicator who builds relationships and does not mind following up.
• Flexible, organized, and comfortable working in a building environment without established work papers or processes.

What does this position pay?

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $85,000 to $95,000 per year DOE. Please note this range is an estimate and actual pay may vary based on qualifications and experience.
