Job summary

Sunflower Bank, N.A. in Gilbert, AZ seeks an IT Staff Auditor II to join the Internal Audit team and perform risk-based IT and integrated control testing across relevant systems and processes.

You will document procedures, evaluate design and operating effectiveness, and identify control gaps while communicating results to audit management. Strong communication, project management, and a commitment to independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years IT internal audit experience within financial services.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and manage projects effectively.
• Knowledge of IT risk areas: access management, change management, operations, data integrity.

Responsibilities

• Execute IT and integrated audit procedures per approved program and test control design/operating effectiveness.
• Perform risk-based testing over IT processes to identify control gaps and inefficiencies.
• Document workpapers with evidence, testing results, and conclusions per standards.
• Communicate progress and findings to Internal Audit management clearly and timely.
• Support preparation of audit deliverables and follow-up on management action plans.
