Job summary

PricewaterhouseCoopers Advisory Services LLC in New York, NY seeks an IT Audit/SOX - Experienced Associate to support internal controls, compliance, and governance projects within Advisory. You’ll learn from senior staff, take ownership, and develop research, data interpretation, and communication skills on client engagements.

Responsibilities include evaluating control activities, documenting flows, testing design/effectiveness, and producing clear workpapers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Pursuit or active CPA/CIA/CISA license preferred.
• Experience in internal audit or SOX testing in client settings.

Responsibilities

• Support internal audit and SOX testing activities across financial reporting and controls documentation.
• Review process narratives, risk/control matrices, and control design for gaps.
• Test key controls, document results, and trace evidence.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify patterns and control issues.
• Prepare workpapers and observations with root causes and actions.
