Job summary

PwC is seeking an IT Audit/SOX - Experienced Associate to support audit work focused on internal controls, compliance, and governance within Advisory. You will learn from seniors, own tasks, and develop skills in research, data interpretation, and clear communication.

You will help evaluate control activities, document flows, test design and operating effectiveness, and gather information to analyze facts and patterns across industries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in a relevant field.
• Active CPA/CIA or CISA license preferred.
• Experience in IT audit or SOX testing is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support internal audit and SOX testing across financial reporting and control documentation.
• Review process narratives, risk and control matrices, and control design for gaps.
• Test key controls, document results, and trace evidence for conclusions.
• Analyze data to identify patterns, exceptions, and control breakdowns.
• Prepare workpapers and draft observations with root causes and actions.
• Assist walkthroughs, follow-up on issues, and remediation tracking.
