Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking an IT Audit Manager - Digital Risk Services in Nashville to lead technology risk and controls engagements from planning through reporting. You will supervise IT general controls, SOX IT audits, and internal IT control engagements, while coaching staff and strengthening client relationships.

The role requires strong technical competence, risk assessment, and ability to deliver high-quality work on time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, information technology, information systems, or a related field (master’s degree preferred).
• 6+ years of experience in IT audit, technology risk, consulting, or assurance services in professional services or industry.
• Current Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is required.
• CPA certification preferred.
• Demonstrated experience with IT general controls and SOX IT audit requirements, including risk assessment, control testing, workpaper review, and reporting.
• Experience leading engagement teams and developing audit deliverables, including process flows, risk and control matrices, work programs, control summaries, findings, and reports.

Responsibilities

• Manage IT audit engagements from planning through reporting, including scope, budgets, timelines, staffing, and deliverables.
• Lead IT general controls, SOX IT audits, and internal IT controls engagements.
• Evaluate control design and operating effectiveness across logical access, change management, and related IT processes.
• Coaching and developing seniors and staff through guidance and training.
• Identify control gaps and provide practical recommendations to strengthen environments.
• Support proposals, scoping, and business development activities for clients.
