Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking a proactive IT Audit Senior Associate to help plan and execute technology risk engagements for diverse clients. You will assess IT general controls, automate and application controls, and review SOC 1/2 reports across systems, infrastructure, and cloud environments.

The role includes leading walkthroughs, documenting testing procedures, communicating findings to client stakeholders, coaching junior staff, and contributing to remediation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, AIS, IT, CS, Finance, or related field.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in IT audit, technology risk, IT assurance, internal audit, public accounting, or related discipline.
• Experience evaluating IT General Controls, including logical access, change management, and IT operations.
• Knowledge of AICPA and PCAOB auditing standards and SOX 404 testing.
• Experience coaching junior team members and providing direction.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute IT audit engagements including ITGCs and SOC assessments.
• Understand clients' business processes, technology environments, systems, infrastructure, and relevant technology risks and controls.
• Document walkthroughs and testing procedures; assess control effectiveness.
• Communicate findings, deficiencies, and remediation recommendations to client stakeholders.
• Review workpapers for accuracy and sufficiency; maintain professional skepticism.
