Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking an IT Audit Associate to join its Digital Risk Services team. The role focuses on IT audit engagements, technology risk assessments, and assurance work across multiple client environments including enterprise applications and cloud environments.

You will gain hands-on experience with ITGCs, SOC reports, and SOX 404 while developing practical recommendations for control improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
• Foundational IT audit/risk knowledge from coursework or internship.
• Strong written and verbal communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist planning and execution of IT audit, technology risk, and assurance engagements (ITGCs, SOX 404, SOC 1/2).
• Understand client processes, tech environments, and relevant controls.
• Test design and operating effectiveness of technology controls with supervision.
• Review reports and assist in evaluating control objectives and exceptions.
• Document walkthroughs, testing procedures, evidence, and conclusions clearly.
• Develop recommendations to strengthen controls and mitigate risk.
