Job summary

FICO is seeking an experienced IT audit lead to own SOX 404 coverage across financial applications and cloud platforms. You will conduct risk assessments, scoping, testing and remediation validation with a data-driven approach and increasing automation.

You’ll work with IT, engineering, security and finance teams, driving continuous improvement in internal control design and test efficiency while mentoring junior staff and coordinating with external auditors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience in IT, IS, CS, accounting or related field.
• Approximately 3–5 years of progressive IT audit experience in tech, SaaS or financial services.
• Hands-on experience testing ITGC and SOX 404; exposure to ERP (Oracle preferred) and cloud-hosted applications.

Responsibilities

• Lead IT audit engagements end to end with limited supervision.
• Own the SOX 404 IT general controls program for in-scope financial apps and infrastructure.
• Test IT application controls, reports, interfaces and data for financial reporting.
• Perform SoD analysis and automate extraction, normalization and monitoring where possible.
• Audit identity and access management across enterprise and privileged access tooling.
• Evaluate change and release controls across DevOps toolchains (Git, CI/CD, Jira, ServiceNow).
• Assess controls over cloud infrastructure and data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Conduct cybersecurity and cloud security assessments for SaaS environments.
• Support third‑party risk reviews and SOC reports mapping CUECs to controls.
• Contribute to AI governance coverage and emerging-risk areas.
