Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join a collaborative Audit Team. The role focuses on planning, scoping, and executing IT audits with emphasis on cloud, cybersecurity, and SAFe practices.

You will translate technical risk into actionable recommendations for remediation and report results to stakeholders. The position requires IIA-aligned documentation, strong communication, and the ability to work with partners across the Federal Reserve System.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of IT audit work; solid understanding of IT risk and controls.
• Familiarity with IIA standards, NIST frameworks, and cloud concepts.
• Ability to translate technical risk into business impact and remediation steps.
• Strong written and verbal communication with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Conduct moderately complex IT audit fieldwork per IIA standards.
• Design, test IT controls across systems, development, and processes.
• Identify IT/cyber risks and document mitigation strategies.
• Follow up on prior findings to verify remediation effectiveness.
• Liaise between audit teams and business stakeholders for assessments.
• Monitor IT risk indicators and prepare trend/exception reports.
