Job summary

The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join a collegial audit team. You will plan, scope, execute, and report on IT audits across cloud, cybersecurity, and DevSecOps, translating technical risks into actionable business insights.

This role requires a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, at least one year of experience, and professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CPA (in progress accepted).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information management, IT, IS, cybersecurity, or equivalent training.
• Minimum one year of IT audit experience.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CIA, or CPA (in progress acceptable).
• Recommended: CRISC, CISM, CIA, Cloud, AI, or SAFe.
• Solid knowledge of IT audit methodologies and frameworks (IIA, NIST).
• Ability to communicate findings effectively and work with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Conducts moderately complex IT audit fieldwork per IIA standards and documents evidence.
• Designs, tests IT controls across systems and processes.
• Identifies IT and cybersecurity risks and recommends mitigations.
• Performs follow-up on findings to verify remediation.
• Acts as IT Audit Liaison between audit teams and business partners.
• Evaluates projects for governance, risk, and control effectiveness.
• Monitors IT risk indicators and produces trend analyses.
