Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago is seeking a Senior IT Auditor to join the Audit Team. You will conduct IT audit fieldwork, design and test IT controls, and analyze risks across cloud and security domains while coordinating with stakeholders.

The role emphasizes measuring control effectiveness, reporting findings, and supporting risk management in a dynamic banking environment. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information management, IT, IS, cybersecurity or commensurate training or experience.
• Minimum one year of work experience.
• Professional certification such as CISA, CIA, or CPA (in progress acceptable).
• Certifications recommended: CRISC, CISM, CIA, Cloud, AI, or SAFe Intermediate knowledge for IT audit work.

Responsibilities

• Conduces and documents moderately complex IT audit fieldwork per IIA standards.
• Designs, evaluates and tests IT controls across systems and processes.
• Identifies IT and cybersecurity risks, documents impacts and mitigations.
• Performs follow-up reviews to verify remediation effectiveness.
