Jabil, a global provider of engineering, supply chain, and manufacturing solutions, seeks an IT Audit Intern to join the Internal Audit IT team in St. Petersburg, FL. You will support SOX and IT audit projects and help identify risks to protect people and assets.

You will document workpapers, review processes, and perform data analysis with spreadsheets while learning from leadership and mentors during the May 17 – Aug 7, 2027 on-site program.

Qualifications

• Major in Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
• Minor in Finance is a plus; Class Year: Junior, Senior, Recent Graduate; GPA 3.0+.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and IT concepts.

Responsabilités

• Assist with SOX and IT Audit projects to evaluate the existence, design, and effectiveness of internal control procedures.
• Document workpapers in a thorough and timely manner, consistent with Internal Audit policies and industry standards.
• Prepare audit workpapers documenting each audit step in the audit program.
• Ensure information is presented clearly, concisely, accurately, in a logical format, and has appropriate audit conclusions.
• Review workflows and business processes as well as evaluate the adequacy of internal controls.
• Gather, perform data analysis utilizing spreadsheets, and document complex information.

Summary of Position

The IT Audit Intern will support the Internal Audit IT team in carrying out audit plans aimed at identifying risks, mitigate loss, and protecting the company’s people and assets. This role focuses on information technology and Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) testing that will be provided to our external auditors.

Intern Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist with performing SOX, and IT Audit projects in a professional manner to evaluate the existence, design, and effectiveness of internal control procedures.
• Document workpapers in a thorough and timely manner, consistent with Internal Audit policies and industry standards.
• Prepare audit workpapers documenting each audit step in the audit program.
• Ensure information is presented clearly, concisely, accurately, in a logical format, and has appropriate audit conclusions.
• Review workflows and business processes as well as evaluate the adequacy of internal controls.
• Gather, perform data analysis utilizing spreadsheets, and document complex information.

Qualifications

• Major(s): Information Technology, MIS, or related field.
• Minor in Finance is a plus Class Year(s): Junior, Senior, Recent Graduate GPA: Min 3.0
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and general IT concepts.
• Strong critical‑thinking and analytical abilities to assess information and identify key trends.
• Familiarity with the technical elements of accounting and financial reporting.
• Comfortable using technology, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Must be available to work on-site in St. Petersburg, FL from May 17, 2027 – Aug 7, 2027.
