Job summary

Elliott Davis is seeking an IT Audit Associate to support IT audit, risk and controls engagements across client environments. You will help in understanding technology risks, document procedures, and test ITGCs in ERP, infrastructure, and cloud settings.

The role offers exposure to SOX 404, SOC reports, and control testing, with a focus on developing practical recommendations and advancing your professional skills within a collaborative, inclusive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Accounting Information Systems, Information Systems, IT, CS, Finance or related field.
• Master's degree preferred in Information Systems, Accounting, Cybersecurity or related discipline.
• 0–2 years of IT audit/technology risk experience with accounting or advisory background.
• Familiarity with SOX 404, ITGCs, automated and application controls, and SOC reports.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and executing IT audit, technology risk, and assurance engagements.
• Develop understanding of client processes, tech environments, risks and controls.
• Perform testing of ITGCs across enterprise apps, infrastructure, and cloud environments.
• Review SOC 1/2 reports and assist in evaluating control objectives and user entity controls.
• Document walkthroughs, testing procedures, evidence, results, and conclusions clearly.
• Support engagement team with practical recommendations to strengthen controls.
