Job summary

Grant Thornton invites applications for an IT Audit Assurance Intern. You will deliver IT audit services to clients, testing information systems controls and supporting financial statement audits as part of the engagement team.

Work with Partners, Managers, and Seniors, and contribute to process improvements while developing in a hybrid in-person/remote environment. A CPA/CISA/CISSP/CIA or CISM path is encouraged, with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a relevant degree program with CPA/CISA/CISSP/CIA or CISM interest.
• Knowledge of IT controls testing and ITGCs is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver IT audit services supporting financial statement audits.
• Collaborate with Partners, Managers, and Senior Executives on engagements.
• Identify security and risk issues and opportunities for process improvement.
• Assist in client communications and meeting deadlines.
• Support recruiting and business development activities as needed.
• All other duties as assigned.
