Job summary

We-Level-Up in Kingwood, WV seeks an IT Associate to support and maintain our computer network and information systems. You will install or upgrade components, set up user accounts, assist with network administration, and help resolve IT support issues while ensuring HIPAA compliance and data security.

This role emphasizes hands-on technical support, preventive maintenance, and documentation of protocols, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two (2+) years’ experience in Information Technology.
• High school diploma or equivalent; degree preferred.
• Ability to install, upgrade, and configure hardware and software.
• Knowledge of HIPAA compliance and data security.

Position Summary:The IT Associate is responsible for installing or upgrading components, setting up software, assisting with network administration, and resolving all IT support issues.Position Responsibilities:Responsible for setting up accounts for new users.Responsible for setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring installation of cable operating systems.Regularly evaluating the IT system to ensure they meet the necessary demands.Responsible for supporting and implementing organizational processes related to all information technology processes.Responsible for supporting setting up, purchasing, contraction, leasing, or otherwise arranging for all equipment and services related to information technology.Responsible for supporting the development of all manuals, protocols, processes, policies, and or procedures related to information technology.Responsible for supporting the organizational development of technology initiatives and products.Responsible for implementing preventive maintenance and maintenance support services for all equipment and services.Responsible for supporting developing, implementing, and monitoring a plan for the safety and security of information including a plan for managing interruptions.Responsible for setting employee support systems and process including setting up accounts, log ins, passwords, and other services.Responsible for supporting developing, monitoring, and implementing systems and process for access to information including tier system for security and privacy.Responsible for supporting developing, managing, and maintaining system for information storage and sharing.Responsible for ensuring all systems are HIPAA compliant and monitors for security breaches.Responsible for managing and implementing a process for reporting technology issues and/or need for support.Responsible for supporting and monitoring the organization’s social medica presence.Responsible for supporting the development and managing the organization’s branding products including logos and other mixed media products.Responsible for obtaining, managing, and servicing general office equipment management including copiers, faxes, phones, and other business-related equipment.Assisting with network administration tasks.Ensuring data storage is safe and secure.Resolving all issues co-workers might have with their IT systems and software.Responsible for educating co-workers about network security and best practices for computer usage.Supporting the day-to-day operations of the company’s computer network.Licensures and/or CertificationsProfessional licensure or certification relevant to degree.Education and Experience:High School Diploma or equivalent.Degree in computer science or related field preferred.Minimum of two (2+) years’ experience in Information Technology.
