UITS invites applicants for the IT Asset Management Developer (Applications Development Programmer Analyst III) position.
The IT Asset Management Developer, supporting ServiceNow, designs, builds, delivers, and maintains the technology solutions that support the University's Software Asset Management (SAM) and Hardware Asset Management (HAM) programs on the ServiceNow platform. Provides hands‑on implementation expertise across the full asset lifecycle — procurement, deployment, normalization, reconciliation, and disposal — ensuring asset and license data is accurate, compliant, and actionable.
This role works in close partnership with the SACM Architect to keep asset records and CMDB configuration data aligned under the Common Service Data Model (CSDM), and serves as the team's implementation‑level subject matter expert for SAM and HAM.
This position is eligible for remote work within Arizona, subject to supervisor approval and department needs.

In compliance with the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act (Clery Act), each year the University of Arizona releases an Annual Security Report (ASR) for each of the University’s campuses.Thesereports disclose information including Clery crime statistics for the previous three calendar years and policies, procedures, and programs the University uses to keep students and employees safe, including how to report crimes or other emergencies and resources for crime victims. As a campus with residential housing facilities, the Main Campus ASR also includes a combined Annual Fire Safety report with information on fire statistics and fire safety systems, policies, and procedures.
